Michael Swanson, Ph.D., Wells Fargo's Chief Agricultural Economist, forecasts ag commodities and livestock sectors and performs macroeconomic and international analysis on ag production. Michael received undergraduate degrees in economics and business administration from the Univ. of St. Thomas and his master's and doctorate degrees in agricultural and applied economics from the Univ. of Minnesota. Bryon Parman, Ph.D., Mississippi State University assistant professor within the Dept. of Agricultural Economics, is developing a new program focusing on agricultural property values and cash rents in Mississippi and the Delta Region, along with benchmarking methods for producer efficiency. He has completed research on ag production efficiency, market impacts of biofuel production, and ag land price forecasting and cash rental rates. Bryon holds a bachelor’s degree from Peru State College, a master’s degree from Univ. of Nebraska-Omaha, and a Ph.D. from Kansas State Univ.
