Maximize your use of Microsoft tools in your classroom.  Learn to use Microsoft's tools and resources to inspire higher levels of achievement in your classroom. Leave this session with a better ability to transform teaching and learning.
Join us for the Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Teacher Academy to learn more about Microsoft’s hottest tools and resources to empower your students to achieve more!  Enjoy this full-day professional learning experience from home on your Windows 10 device and learn how to maximize your use of Windows and take an immersive deep dive into the new Microsoft Teams. You will get the opportunity to explore tools such as OneNote Class Notebooks, Docs.com, Microsoft Forms, and Sway including how to provide your students with learning experiences beyond the 4 walls in your classroom using Skype in the Classroom and the online Microsoft Educator Community. This session is for teachers at ALL technology comfort levels.**

OK2Ask are hands-on exploratory workshops, not sit & gets.  We highly recommend that you attend using a computer with an updated browser (Chrome or Edge).  Those attending on mobile devices may not be able to fully participate and therefore may not receive a certificate. You are welcome to join us on a mobile device, but this may jeopardize your ability to receive CEUs.

Please note the following: 
To be able to participate you will need an active Microsoft or Office 365 Account. You can set up a free account here (https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/) if you do not already have one either on your own or from your school division. 
Additionally, you will need to be a member of the Microsoft Educator Community. If you are NOT currently a member of the community, access the site (https://education.microsoft.com/) click JOIN NOW and use either your Microsoft or Office 365 account. Create the base information for your profile. 
Finally, if you will be attending the session on an iPad you will need to download the Microsoft Sway app from the iTunes Store. 
 
As a result of this session teachers will:
Learn to use the many Microsoft technologies and resources that support student-centered learning;
Experience hands-on activities and participate in best practice conversations for innovating teaching with Microsoft tools; and
Create a Sway mini-portfolio showcasing their work to share with others.

quick diagnostic on your computer in advance.
