Training Description:
Section 184 Program is a HUD - Home Mortgage Financing Program specifically designed to bridge the gap between Native Americans and private mortgage lenders. Increasing better access to home or home rehabilitation loans to all eligible Native Americans living on and off native land, plus encouraging more Native Americans to invest in their own home and community.This detailed overview of HUD Section 184 Indian Home Loan Guarantee Program will assist homebuyers in gaining a better understanding of how the program works. Questions and answers about types of properties, property rehabilitation loans, new construction or refinance options. Discover availability terms for eligible tribes, Indian Housing Authorities and Native American individuals and families wanting to own a home on trust land or land located in an approved Native American or Alaska Native area.
