Native CDFI Financial Management
Training Description: 
This session covers the basic understanding of accounting principles, the fundamental building blocks of solid financial management. You will gain the knowledge to successfully make sense of financial data while becoming familiar with general accounting terminology. This webinar is perfect for CDFI Board members and treasurers, self-taught bookkeepers, or anyone in the CDFI field who want to learn the basics of financial management.

Training Objectives:
•	Understand the difference between accrual and cash accounting;
•	Reading financial statements;
•	Use ratios to help you govern your CDFI;
•	Understand how your lending portfolio interacts with the balance sheet.

Formerly, Lanelle served as principal for Black Feather Development, LLC, and an independent consultant firm providing services to organizations focused on increasing organizational capacity.
