Training Title: Part III Tribal Housing Professionalism Series: Resumes and Interview Skills; Effective Communication Skills Training Description: It is often said that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and at times workplace communication can also feel that way. Sometimes what you wrote in an email may not translate into what you intended. In 2017, delivery method of the communication can also matter just as much as the clarity of the message. For example, if you send a memo to staff and expect acknowledgment via email don’t be surprised that folks may decide to “drop” by your office to acknowledge receipt of that memo. This example may be a failure to understand the organization’s communication culture or it could be as simple as a difference in communication preference. This webinar is designed to highlight differences and avoid common communication pitfalls.
