Getting the Grant 2: Performance Metrics
Wednesday, February 7, 2018 7:00:00 PM UTC - 8:00:00 PM UTC
Training Description: The sweeping changes in the new grant regulations known as 2 CFR Part 200 created a radically different landscape for tribal governments and nonprofits competing for their share of more than $600 billion in federal grants awarded each year. This presentation will show grant writers and grant managers how to model success by introducing practical strategies and real-life examples designed to showcase winning proposal design and proactive grant management. Benefits include access to additional funding, strengthened program oversight, and better grant outcomes. In this session, Lucy will walk through examples of performance metrics from both the perspective of the funding agency and the grant recipient. Explore practical ways to transform the objectives in the program narrative into an action plan for grant management. Discover how to design performance metrics that communicate to program staff and funders if programs are staying on-track or going “off the rails.”
