Developing Your Strategic Plan

Training Description: 
Learn the steps that involve a full strategic plan before you dive into one with your board!  We will discuss the key components such as organizational history, present and future goal setting and vision and mission drafting.

Lanalle Smith & Heather Rademacher-Taylor
Lanalle Smith, Program Manager for First Nations Oweesta.  Lanalle’s recent housing experience includes Public Housing management for the Gallup Housing Authority.  Currently, Ms. Smith serves as a board member for the VOICES for CASA Children of Maricopa County, a non-profit that advocates and fundraise for children in state care.

Heather Rademacher Taylor works as a Programs Officer, Capacity Building at First Nations Oweesta Corporation. She is a graduate of the University of Denver.
Lanalle Smith, Program Manager for First Nations Oweesta, is an experienced technical assistance provider who runs Oweesta’s new back-office service program. Heather Rademacher Taylor works as a Programs Officer, Capacity Building at First Nations Oweesta Corp., where she manages projects and grants, provides training and technical assistance to Native CDFIs, Native nonprofits, and Tribes, and works on development for the organization. She is a graduate of the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, where she earned her M.A. in International Human Rights and Development and a Graduate Certificate in Humanitarian Assistance.
